Mkay so I wanted to try some sort of manipulation thing, but regardless of what this is this is what I came up with. Seastars under the sea!!! XD
I've never even seriously tried any form of manipulation/horse photoshop blah so critique is requested XD Should I do more of these? (Ye I know the tail sucks lol)

You are not terrible at manips, what are you talking about? This is good! The blending and grounding is really nice! I'm by no means qualified to give critique, but if you wanted some I would say to try adding a bit more tones to the mane + tail 
some shadows and highlights. And remember that hair won't be completely straight, especially in water. But I think this is overall awesome and I'm happy to see you trying new things. I hope to see more of these!
